Subject: Lotus Domino Server Log.nsf file increasing

There is a huge increase in size of Log.nsf. Could some one please suggest me how to reduce the size of Log.nsf

Also please rectify these below points:
1) what are the problems/impacts if log.nsf is deleted?
2) Is there any impact if size of log.nsf reduced?
